Sydney is Australia’s largest and oldest city. Founded in 1788 as a place of exile for British convicts. Today it has a population of 3.85 million people (20% of Australia’s population) and is a world famous city standing on a magnificent harbour. Sydney hosted the 2000 Olympic Games which is the first Olympic Games for the new millennium.
